The CD4077B integrated circuit contains four independent Exclusive-NOR gates.
The XNOR gate is the negation of the XOR gate, when the inputs are equal an output will be represented in state “1” and if they are different the output will be a state “0”.
CD4077BE is a quad CMOS Exclusive-NOR Gate for use with logical comparators, adders/subtractors, parity generators and checkers. The CD4077B provide the system designer with a means for direct implementation of the Exclusive-OR and Exclusive-NOR functions, respectively.
