Product Description

28pin Wide base Universal ZIF socket IC microcontroller socket IC base

The 28-Pin Wide ZIF Socket (Zero Insertion Force) is an ideal tool for programming and recording chips in DIP format or even for testing them without damaging them, as it has 28 pin openings for easy connection.

Using it is very simple, just connect an IC chip in DIP format with up to 28 pins and up to 0.6mm thick, lower the lever to lock the chip in place and start the testing and/or programming procedures. The width of the chip needs to be at least 11 millimeters to be compatible.

The ZIF Socket socket is produced with correct materials that provide greater durability compared to other models, in addition to the fact that the socket has pins at the bottom that can be fitted directly to the breadboard or soldered onto printed circuit boards,

The IC’s own weight is sufficient to keep it in place. The clamps in the socket latch onto the pins of the IC when the lever is pulled down, locking it in place.
This 28 Pin ZIF IC Test Socket can be used with any 28 pin DIP programmable IC. This device is designed for programmers, and it can also be used on a breadboard.
